Christmas 2023 Promotion - Terms and Conditions

Promote

1. The Promoter is Prezzee Limited (NCN 816 0617) of Level 4, Smith & Caughey Building, 253 Queen Street, Auckland, 1010 New Zealand (the Promoter). 

2. Christmas 2023 Promotion (the Promotion) is operated by the Promoter.

Promotion Period

3. The Promotion will commence at 10:00am NZDT on December 1st and will finish at 23:59pm NZDT on December 12th or until the Sales Limit is reached, whichever is earlier (Promotion Period). 

The Offer

4. During the Promotion Period, purchase a specially-marked Countdown eGift Card (Promotional Gift Card) with a face value of $100 from www.prezzee.co.nz (or New Zealand mobile application) and receive a $10 bonus Countdown eGift Card (Bonus Digital Gift Cards).

5. The Promotion is strictly limited. Only 500 Bonus Digital Gift Cards are available (Sales Limit). After the Sales Limit has been reached, the Promotion will end.

6. The Countdown eGift Card and the bonus Countdown eGift Card have no expiry date.

7. Promotional Gift Cards purchased from Prezzee are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant brands and Promoter’s Terms of Sale at: https://www.prezzee.co.nz/policies/terms-of-sale/ and Terms of Service at: https://www.prezzee.co.nz/policies/terms-of-service/.

Eligibility for Offer

 8. The Promotion is open to legal residents of New Zealand over the age of 18 years.

9. To be eligible for the Promotion, a customer must purchase a specially marked Countdown eGift Card with a face value of $100 on the New Zealand Prezzee mobile app (available on Google Play and the App Store) or Prezzee website at www.prezzee.co.nz during the Promotion Period (Qualifying Purchase).

10. After a Qualifying Purchase has been made, the Bonus Digital Gift Card will be automatically sent to the email address of the customer who made the Qualifying Purchase in a separate email within 48 hours.

11. Customers can only enter the Promotion once, and Bonus Digital Gift Cards are limited to one per customer.

12. Business partners, directors, employees and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, its related companies or its agencies, are not eligible to enter this Promotion. Immediate family means spouse, ex-spouse, child, step-child, parent, step-parent, legal guardian, sibling or step-sibling.

Other Terms

13. By entering this Promotion, you hereby consent to sharing your personal information with the Promoter for the purposes of participation and redemption of this Promotion, acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Promotor’s privacy policy at https://www.prezzee.co.nz/policies/privacy-policy/and website terms and conditions.

14. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.

15. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to

a) vary the terms of, or cancel the Promotion at any time without liability to any customers or other person;

b) at any time, to request verification of information relevant to participation in the Promotion of all customers. The Promoter may disqualify customers who provides false information or failed to provide information that is reasonably requested by the Promoter; and/or

c) to cancel the gift cards of customers where the Promoter suspects that the terms and conditions have been breached, the customer has redeemed the Offer multiple times, has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct, or the customer otherwise undermines the fairness of the promotion.

16. A Customer’s participation in the Promotion is entirely at their own risk. The customers release and indemnify the Promoter from and against any liability arising from the customer’s acceptance and use of the Offer and the customer’s participation in the Promotion.

17. The Promoter shall have no liability for a customer’s failure to receive emails or the Bonus Digital Gift Card due to spam, junk-email, or other security settings, for a customer’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.

18. If the Promotion is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Promotion or Bonus Digital Gift Card with a Digital Gift Card of equal monetary value. This right is subject to any applicable legislation, regulations, or directions from regulatory authority.

19. Countdown eGift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of Countdown. Please review all applicable retailers’ terms and conditions (linked here) prior to the purchase of any gift card(s).

20. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion will be directed to the Promoter to help@prezzee.com.

21. Wpay New Zealand Limited is the issuer of the Countdown eGift Card, but is not the promoter of the offer, nor responsible for fulfilment of the offer terms. Countdown eGift Cards have no expiry date and are redeemable in store at Countdown Supermarket stores only. Countdown eGift Cards are not redeemable online.
